Rare Mixed Weave - Beni Jelidassen Sachou


   This very rare mixed weave sachou (generic term for a flat weave or cover) is a highly prized  piece by the Beni Jelidassen tribe (Beni Ouarain confederation.)  Pieces like this are often displays of the individual weaver's prowess and were highly regarded as prestige items.
